Contraception
Girls can usually tell the difference between 20 different kinds of make-up...
....and two kinds of contraceptive.
There are 12 contraceptive methods besides the pill and the condom – and more on the way. Whether you’re having sex or not, it’s cool to know what kinds of contraception are out there and find out what could work best for you!
Here are just a few of them:
- Contraceptive Injection
- Implant
- Contraceptive Patch
It’s all Double Dutch!
The ‘Double Dutch’ method (using a condom every time you have sex as well as hormonal contraception such as the pill, injection or implant) helps to protect you even more against unplanned pregnancy.
Remember...
Condoms are the only form of contraception that can help prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) so if you are having sex, it’s important to use a condom every time, even if you’re using hormonal contraception.
